Following our last email, we have looked into whether we could accredit existing Resolution specialists who do not yet have a third specialism to the Domestic Abuse category in time for the deadline for the legal aid bid round. As the Law Society was offering the additional specialism, we did not want to disadvantage Resolution accredited specialists, so we have pulled out all the stops and now will be able to offer this additional specialism.
Apologies for any confusion – as you all appreciate, this has been a fast moving environment and we had no more notice then you of the criteria for family contracts.
If you want to apply then you should send your cheque for £88.13 (incl VAT) to arrive no later than 7th April.
You will be sent the question paper the same day.
You will have to complete it and return the answers to the question paper and your two case studies to be received by central office by the 13th April.
We will then arrange for them to be marked and you will be informed of your result on the 20th April.
Clearly this does not give you much time but you could start work straight away on your own two case studies.
